Taxonomic Notes:First collected in Alabama (Mobile Co.) by Howard Horne in 2016. Only one plant was observed in that instance and was extracted for vouchering as cited below. This occurrence was apparently an incidental introduction through the horticulture trade thus the species may not be established member of the Alabama flora at this time.
