Locality:USA. Alabama. Dallas: Hatcher's Bluff, on south/east shore of Alabama River, approx. 6 miles S of Selma, approx. 4 miles NW of Sardis at JCT U.S. Hwy 80 and AL Hwy 41 (T16N, R10E, Sec. 35).
Habitat:Uncommon, in moist, partially open soil of prairie clay and leaf litter, in area undergoing 15th-20th year of succession on lower half of north-facing bluff.
